The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, and the East-European Center for Research in Economics and Business (ECREB) are pleased to invite you to attend the seventh edition of the International Conference “Current Economic Trends in Emerging and Developing Countries” (TIMTED-2023).
The seventh edition, TIMTED-2023 (June 8-9, 2023) aims to bring together academics, professors, researchers, Ph.D. students, as well as professionals from around the world. The conference aims to provide participants with a high-quality scientific context and to facilitate debates and exchange of ideas and opinions on contemporary social problems: globalization, the capricious and dynamic organizational environment, the development of digital technologies, etc. The conference encourages interdisciplinary research based on economic and business science.
The authors may send full papers or extended abstracts. These will be first evaluated by the Conference reviewers. Extended abstracts of 1600 to 2200 words will have the same structure as full papers: introduction, literature review, methodology, results and conclusions. A maximum of two papers may be submitted to the conference by every participant, as sole author or co-author. Only original papers are accepted, on subjects related to all fields of economics and business administration.

Although these are the proposed topics, the conference welcomes papers focusing on other topics. However, when choosing the title, it is recommended to consider the following areas or topics:

For the papers accepted in the conference there is the possibility of publication in one of the journals associated with TIMTED 2023 (see list of journals below), the author(s) shall comply with journal requirements:

The conference fee is 100 Euros per participant and it includes attendance, conference bag and materials, coffee breaks and participation in the Gala Dinner. PhD Students pay a reduced conference fee of 50 Euros per participant.
